Marlow Bridge

The Marlow Bridge dominates the landscape as you enter the town from Bisham. If you enter via car, the bollards are anxiety-inducing for even the smallest of cars but the town is worth the worry.

You can also walk across the bridge and we challenge anyone not to stop and take at least one photo of the splendid view of the River Thames.

There has been a bridge on the site since the reign of King Edward III which was stated in around 1530. The current suspension bridge was designed by William Tierney Clark and was built between 1829 and 1832, replacing a wooden bridge further downstream which collapsed in 1828.

This landmark card is kindly sponsored by Black And White Key Security who felt the bridge rather fitting given it's coincidentally painted in their company colours.
